About Laura
Hi, i'm Laura, thank you for visiting my website. I am an Approved Driving Instructor and have been teaching pupils (in line with the DVSA), how to drive since 2022. I am a very patient, calm and understanding instructor who appreciates that all people learn in different ways, and therefore i am very adaptable with my teaching style. Driving can be a very scary thought for many people and it is my priority to ensure that everybody has the chance to learn and embrace a new skill for life.
I have been in many careers over the years including working in the Metropolitan Police service, Anti-social behaviour, I owned a dog walking business and have also been a security officer for the Bank of England. All these roles have taught me resilience, patience, effective communication and how to make a difference. I decided to become a driving instructor to allow people to achieve a positive goal in life and to be apart of that process! I love being apart of the journey and witnessing such change in peoples abilities to becoming a driver. My main aim is to have some input to safer driving on the roads!.
